There was a magnitude 7.0 earthquake which struck northern Syria and southern Turkey on October 30th, 2019. The epicenter was located near the Syrian town of Al-Rai and shook buildings in both countries. At least 32 people were reported dead and more than 300 wounded in both affected countries.
